DEAFBLIND AWARENESS FOR DEAF TUTORS

• Struggling with the changes to CACDP qualification specificiations?
• Want to know more about what and how to teach this subject?
• Want to know where you can get more information?

This workshop is aimed at Deaf tutors who teach courses in Deaf and Deafblind Awareness. With recent changes to the CACDP system, many former Deaf Awareness tutors maybe having difficulty in delivering the revised course with the limited training from CACDP.

This workshop should help improve the quality of information on deafblind issues and give confidence to tutors teaching the course.

A Deaf tutor with Usher Syndrome and years of experience will be teaching this course.
