June 2010 | Regional Co-ordinator wanted!
We are looking for a full time Regional Co-ordinator for the Midlands working for Remark!'s Training and Interpreting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the training and interpreting divisions all across the Midlands for Remark!. Knowledge of Signature BSL courses and the NVQ process necessary as well as experience of co-ordinating BSL CSWs and Interpreters.
The position will be based at our new offices in Birmingham. Salary dependent on experience in the region of £22 to £26k.

New Romford Classes
Remark! Access are delighted to announce the launch of our new Romford BSL classes at the Yew Tree Resource Centre, Romford, commencing in September 2010.
Remark! has always been committed to the success of our students and endeavour to assist in any way possible. We realise that this is a very difficult time for most people in the current financial climate. Therefore, we have taken the decision, after thorough consideration, to freeze the prices of our courses for another year, thus enabling students to get their qualifications and hopefully improve their chances of career progression. NVQ fees were significantly reduced last year and will remain at the same rate this year.
Remark! Access is among the leaders when it comes to quality training in British Sign Language (BSL). We offer a variety of training courses, such as the Signature (formerly CACDP) accredited courses from BSL Level 1 to BSL NVQ Level 4 and workshops. The courses range from one day to one year duration, depending on content and qualifications desired.
Our courses have been running for 7 years now and have an excellent track record. Our good reputation and high pass rates ensure that our courses are always in high demand. Our qualified, friendly Deaf tutors are very experienced and provide all our training. To maintain our high standards we only use native BSL users to teach our courses.
We have two comfortable, dedicated training rooms at our riverside offices in Greenwich, London. We also offer in-house training for companies and organisations. We have provided successful in-house BSL training courses for the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS), Springfield University Hospital and the Department for Work and Pensions, amongst many others.
